Lex Marinos OAM- Chairman
Since completing his BA with Honours in Drama from the UNSW, Lex has gone on to perform with many of Australia’s premier theatre companies, appeared on multiple television shows and directed a number of film and television series.

Awarded an OAM for services to the performing arts, Lex is also a former Deputy Chair of the Australia Council, former Chair of the Community Cultural Development Fund of the Australia Council, and Board Member of the Multicultural Advisory Committee for SOCOG.

Lex was the Director of Carnivale, NSW's multicultural arts festival (1996-99) and directed one of the segments of the Sydney 2000 Opening Ceremony. Lex was also Executive Producer of the YEPERENYE Federation Festival, Alice Springs (2001).

On radio, Lex made a name for himself as a producer/presenter on vaious ABC and commercial radio programs and is also a frequent speaker and writer on arts and cultural diversity.

Jennifer Gleeson - Secretary
Community Engagement Coordinator | North Sydney Council

Jenny Gleeson has a Bachelor of Art Theory and Masters in Art Administration (UNSW). Jenny currently works for North Sydney Council as the Community Engagement Coordinator and is responsible for community consultation and coordination of the Precinct System. Previously Jenny has worked in community and cultural development roles with Campbelltown City Council, Cabramatta Community Centre and Regional Arts NSW. Jenny is also the Chairperson of the Macarthur Youth Services Network Inc.

Lisa Andersen
Community Engagement Coordinator | Shopfront, University of Technology Sydney

Lisa Andersen has worked at UTS Shopfront for more than a decade and manages communications and community relations for the program. She also runs the cross-faculty Community Research subject, supervises the student research series, and has contributed to or supervised more than 150 community projects; particularly in the areas of communications planning, campaigning and social research.

Lisa managed the Audience and Market Development program at Regional Arts NSW from 2003 to 2006 and has worked with a range of arts and community organisations, including the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Arts Festivals, the Sydney Opera House, the Byron Bay Writers Festival and Red Cross.

Lisa is also the Manager and Senior Researcher for the Australian Research Council's CAMRA Project - Cultural Asset Mapping in Regional Australia - and sits on the Audience Development Steering Committee for Museums & Galleries NSW.

Christopher Hudson
Cultural Development Policy Officer | Local Government & Shires Associations of NSW

Christopher has created and produced cultural activities, including arts programming, festivals, visual and performing arts and cultural policy, for over twenty years. Working in large bureaucracies and with small arts companies provides him with broad perspectives. With over twelve years experience in Local Government, Christopher has held many other positions including Cultural Program Manager for NSW Government House, Coordinator of Community Arts Marrickville and Administrator for ERTH Visual & Physical Inc. he is currently with the Local Government and Shires Associations of NSW, where he holds the Policy Officer, Cultural development position.
 
Christopher has a particular current interest in how arts practice works to create cultural change, especially in organisations. He believes this phenomenon has a special relevance for cultural policy, particularly as it applies to government.
