David Ryding heads up NSW Writers Centre
New Leader for NSW Writers Centre
NSW Writers centre welcomes a new Director, David Ryding. David was the Director of the highly successful Emerging Writers' Festival in Melbourne a festival championing the cause of emerging writers of all styles of writing, types of writing and all ages of writer. As well as writing David also works as a dramaturge, script assessor and has conducted Community Cultural Development programmes in Broome, Kalgoorlie and Denmark and the award winning Leonora Project, a two-year project in the Western Australian mining town of Leonora. In a former life he was a Youth Worker and ran Camps for the YMCA.
